Salon Terms and Conditions



General Policies

We are happy to inform you we have plenty of on-street parking for your convenience. To prevent any disruptions to your appointment, parking in the driveway is not permitted.

If you are sick, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment – and may refuse service if you turn up sick. If our staff are sick, we will always advise you before hand so that you can choose if you would like to reschedule your appointment.

Sunday appointments are available in limited quantities and also on special request. All Sunday appointments will incur a $10 surcharge. Please select this charge as an add-on or this will be added to your final cost at the time of service.

 

Payments

As the time scheduled for your appointment is for your exclusive use only, a 20% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment – this will be taken off your final service cost. Please familiarise yourself with our ‘cancellations’ policy below, as this relates to your deposit.

Cash and card payments are accepted at the time of service – payments made with card will attract a $1.50 transaction fee. Payment is to be made at the time of service, or paid in full when booking. We are unable to give IOU’s or credits.

At Zafloya, we are proud to be able to offer you access to our Signature Packages. Due to the highly discounted nature of packages, and the exclusive time put aside for your luxury appointment, all packages must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Packages cannot be transferred or refunded. Cancellation policy applies to packages.

 

Confirmations

We know sometimes appointments slip our mind, this is why we send you a confirmation email and SMS 24 hours before your appointment time. Please ensure that you confirm your appointment by replying to the reminder text message, or via the confirmation email.

Unconfirmed appointments will be automatically cancelled 2 hours before the appointment time.

 

Cancellations

Please understand that Zafloya runs an appointment-only service. Last minute cancellations, reschedules and no-shows greatly impact our ability to offer a quality service. As such, a minimum of 24 hours notice of appointment changes or cancellations is required.

We are happy to reschedule your appointment outside of our 24 hour window, and you are also able to do this yourself via your confirmation email. Unfortunately, if you cancel your appointment, your booking fee will not be refunded or transferred. 

We understand that sometimes the unexpected happens, however please let us know if for any reason you are unable to make your appointment. If you simply do not show up to your appointment without any prior notification you will be required to pay in full for your current and missed appointment before being able to book. If any payments have already been made, our refund policy still applies. 

 

Refunds

At Zafloya, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide you with a superior service.

During your appointment, please take the opportunity to request any changes so we achieve your desired outcome. We do not offer refunds for future breakages, lifting or change of mind – however, we are more than happy to repair*.

Late Arrivals

We kindly request that you arrive on time for your booked appointment. In order to be able to offer the best service to all our clients, if you are more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment, or you may have limited design choice. Please contact us if you know you will be running late so we may advise you.

 

No Children Policy

For your relaxation, and in the interests of safety, Zafloya is a child-free zone. Please do not bring children under 10 to the salon.

 

Right To Refuse Service

For the safety, comfort and satisfaction of all clients and staff, and in the interest of workplace heath and safety, we reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
